From street snacks to traditional dishes, these are the foods I grew up eating. As a local who has lived in Marrakech for nearly all my life, I know this city inside out and wish to show you the highlights, hidden gems and best places to eat.
We’ll kick off this culinary adventure with traditional pastries, then move on to a selection of small bites. From the classic dates, local olives, and fresh Almond or Avocado juice, you’ll be tasting specialties found here in Marrakech..
As we slowly comb through the streets of Marrakech, I’ll get the conversation rolling by sharing with you the history of Marrakech along with interesting food tales only we locals know.
To truly understand the flavors of Marrakech, we’ll try some traditional Kofte with Moroccan bread. These are the iconic dishes not to be missed. Topping off our food quest, we’ll finish with a sampling of Mint tea and local pastries.
