This is a true private adventure! You will have fun exploring the many features of the desert all the way up to the very remote Welwitschia Miriabilis plants.
Stop for photographs at the lookout over the Moon Landscape and take in the many earthy colors and texture of this magical place. Take a break at the Goanikontes oasis, with excellent atmosphere, and wifi connectivity.
With a bit of luck you might see some wild animals along the riverbed with ostrich being the most common.
At the designated parking areas there is quite a bit of information on the Welwitschia, where you can stretch your legs a bit and walk among the Welwitschia in their natural environment.
Following a quick drive through Swakopmund to view the historic buildings and jetty the next item on the adventure is the coastal road between Swakopmund and Walvis Bay. The Dune belt on the left hand, and the ocean on the right make for some spectacular views.
