Overview

Get ready for a day of discovering the stunning Scottish countryside. Visit Stirling Castle, Doune Castle, Aberfoyle in Trossachs, National Park, and Loch Lomond on this shore excursion from Greenock port.

After your pick up at Greenock port, you will be led to an air-conditioned coach where you will be seated comfortably while gazing at the scenery. First stop, Stirling Castle, one of Scotland's most important fortresses. Listen to your guide as he tells you all about the exploits of Robert the Bruce and the infamous Scottish Queen while you enjoy refreshments at the castle's charming cafe. Have a quick stop at Kilmahog to maybe see some Highland cattle up close. Proceed to the village of Aberfoyle located just below the Highland faultline, to get a bite to eat and explore some more. Finally, stop at the conservation village of Luss, one of the most breathtaking and largest lochs in Scotland. Stroll around the lovely village and see the several islands, and spectacular views of the surrounding mountains.

Travelers commented that this was a great tour. The scenery to each site was stunning and the information and commentary provided by the guide were exceptional. Highly recommended tour.
