    Did you know Madrid is the greenest capital in Europe? For 3 hours we’ll explore the Parque del Oeste, the Manzanares River, and Casa de Campo - one of the largest public parks in the world - all on cycle paths. Our guides will talk you through the parks’ history, from beginnings as royal hunting grounds, to use as a front line during the Spanish Civil War. You’ll also visit the resting place of a legendary Spanish artist and see an impressive church with ceilings painted by him. This tour is great for kids as it doesn’t cross the city centre or use roads.

    Includes:
    - Bike rental with handlebar bag for storing personal items, helmet (optional) and a bottle of water
    - English-speaking bilingual guide who will take pictures of you along the way so you don’t have to fuss with your camera*

What It Is

  • This will be a bike tour along the rivers and around the parks of Madrid.
  • The attractions you will be visiting and enjoying are the Templo de Debod (an Egyptian temple that was built in 2nd century BC), Parque del Oeste (a prominent green area which features the Teleferico cable car, a ceramics school and a beautiful rose garden) and the Case de Campo (which is the largest urban park in spain).
  • This is a short 3-hour tour with a small group of 15 people maximum.
