Minneapolis St Paul International Airport is located alongside the Mississippi River in the town of Mendota around 8 miles south of Minneapolis, and 10 miles south west of neighbouring St Paul, the other city that it serves. In Terminal 1 (Lindbergh), the car rental desks are located on levels 2 and 3 between the blue and red parking ramps, while in Terminal 2 (Humphrey), they can be found on the ground floor of the Ground Transport Centre, adjacent to the Purple Parking Ramp. Alamo, Avis, Budget , Budget , Dollar, Hertz and National all have rental desks at both Terminal s at Minneapolis Airport.
From the centre of Minneapolis, head South along the North Loop as far as Loring Park where the road turns East and becomes Route 94. After about 2.5 miles, turn right onto Hiawatha Avenue, which takes you south towards the airport. Turn briefly left onto the Crosstown highway before turning right onto the airport entrance road.
