Your guide will pick you up in the morning at your hotel in Bogotá and take you to Chicaque Natural Park, located southwest of the Sabana de Bogotá, in San Antonio del Tequendama. When you arrive there, you can marvel at its majestic viewpoint that offers views of the Tolima, Santa Isabel and Ruiz volcanos on clear days. You'll also embark on a 3-hour hike through this natural reserve that is home to 214 species of birds (some endemic to the area), 20 species of mammals, several reptilian and amphibian varieties and arthropods; plus more than 3,000 plant species, 7 types of forests, 20 km (12.5 miles) of ecological trails and 3 streams with crystalline waters that make Chicaque a unique destination.

On this full day tour you will explore the Chicaque Natural Park - a magical and unforgettable place situated close to Bogotá. It's part of an ecosystem with flora and fauna native to the Andean mountain range known as Bosque de Niebla (Cloud Forest).
Discover the Reserve which covers 300 hectares of sub-Andean forest stretching from 2,000 to 2,700 meters (6,560 ft – 8,860 ft) and temperatures ranging between 11 ° to 17 ° C (52 F – 63 F).
