    Bharatpur is situated 60 km away from Agra that is home to the world-renowned bird sanctuary and also known as the Keoladeo Ghana national park. This bird sanctuary is visited by thousands of bird lovers from all over the world. The best time to visit Bharatpur is between August and February. Bird watching in Bharatpur is an experience itself as more than 300 species of birds flocked the park in this duration.
    There is a long list of birds spotted in this park such as Flamingo, Red-crested Porhad, Rosy Pelican, Great Egret. Some migratory waterfowls and land birds can also be seen here, some of them make their presence in the park every year such as Shoveler, Cotton teal, Little cormorant, Great cormorant, Painted stork, Gadwall, Tufted duck, Comb duck, Indian shag, Ruffcommon teal and Peregrine, Short-toed eagle, Tawny eagle, Imperial eagle, Osprey, Pallas' sea eagle respectively.
