You will be collected from your hotel by an air-conditioned coach and taken to Sharm el Sheikh airport. After a short flight, you will arrive comfortably in Luxor. With our German-speaking tour guide, you'll explore Karnak Temple and be transported back through time. Your route then leads you to the west bank of the Nile, to two colossal statues of Amenhotep III, also known as Colossi of Memnon. In the Valley of the Kings you will visit splendid tombs before proceeding on to Queen Hatshepsut's impressive temple. After a brief flight, you'll find yourself back at Sharm el Sheikh again.

What To Expect

Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Sharm El Sheikh, Sharm El Sheikh, South Sinai, Red Sea and Sinai

You will be picked up from your hotel around 4:30 am and taken to the airport to board the Egypt Air domestic flight to Luxor at 6am. The flight time is approximately one hour. You will arrive in Luxor around 7 a.m., where a German-speaking tour guide will be waiting for you. Then travel on the west bank of the Nile (Thebes West) to visit 3 remarkable tombs in the Valley of the Kings. Afterwards proceed to Deir el Bahary to explore Queen Hatshepsut's mortuary temple. On your way back you will make a brief stop at the Colossi of Memnon.

After having lunch return to the east bank of the Nile (Thebes-East) to discover Karnak temple complex with its holy lake. At day's end transfer to Luxor Airport for a domestic flight back to Sharm el Sheikh. Upon reaching Sharm el Sheikh Airport, you will be driven back in an air-conditioned vehicle.
