What To Expect

You will be collected from your hotel between 4-5:30 am in an air conditioned bus and taken to the Cairo Airport for your morning flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, you will meet your guide for the day. Drive to the west bank, referred to as the city of dead and home of Ancient Egypt's funerary complex. Visit the Valley of Kings, comprised of 63 registered tombs with three more recently discovered; Hatshepsut Temple – a unique mortuary temple built on terraces into a cliff face; and Memnon statues - two remaining figures located at Amenhotep III's mortuary temple. Afterwards, embark on a traditional felucca sail down the Nile river, taking in quietness, culture and nature while enjoying lunch onboard. Stop off at Camel Island for a ride on a camel before returning back to Luxor. Then drive to Karnak Temples – one of Egypt's most major sites – and enjoy some sugar cane juice before travelling back to Cairo Airport for departure flight. Upon arrival in Cairo airport (subject to schedule), you'll be transferred back to your accommodations with lasting memories.
