Overview

Arrival in Tirano at about 10.30 am and short stop in Tirano. At 11.00 am, boarding the Bernina train and the start of a spectacular and unforgettable railway route. The train made up of modern and comfortable carriages leaves the pretty town of Tirano to begin a breathtaking journey on slopes of 70 per thousand, along the Poschiavo Valley and the Bernina Pass with spectacular panoramic views of the Alps and the Bernina glacier. At 12.33 am we arrive in Diavolezza where our bus will be waiting for us to continue towards Livigno. Upon arrival, free time is available for a walk in the quaint town along the small town, admiring the typical alpine mountain hut buildings, which in summer are chock full of colorful flowers that fill balconies and vases everywhere. Livigno as well as being internationally known as a ski destination is also a place of very advantageous purchases as it is a free zone.
