 Fly to Luxor from Sharm El Sheikh for a full-day excursion exploring majestic Egyptian monuments with an Egyptologist guide. Visit the City of the Dead and wander through its crumbling necropolis, then explore the Valley of the Kings; marvel at Ramses VI's tomb paintings, be in awe of Memnon's Colossus, and admire Hatshepsut's stunning temple arcades. Opt to tour Tutankhamun’s tomb; savour a buffet lunch and visit a bazaar and alabaster factory before returning back to Sharm El Sheikh.

What To Expect

A collection from your hotel at 04:30am will be followed by a flight departing Sharm el Sheikh at 06:00am. You will then be met by our guide in Luxor, and driven to the West bank for the "City of the Dead" which is steeped in ancient Egyptian mythology. Next, you will visit the Valley of the Kings – remember to take water with you as it's out in the sun – plus, there is an opportunity to see Ramses VI's tomb (for an additional fee). Thereafter, you can explore Karnack temple, Colossus of Memnon and Hatshepsut's temple. Guides are not permitted entry into tombs but they will explain what is inside before entering. Lunch and a River Nile trip on a Falucca around Banana Island (optional) are both included but drinks are extra. Shopping in local bazaar's or visiting albaster factories may also be done before returning to Sharm airport for 9:30pm and back to your hotel. Don't forget your camera!
