This trail is moderately challenging with some steep, irregular and slick terrain; thus, it is advised that you wear appropriate hiking shoes. If rain is in the forecast, please bring an extra pair of socks and shoes.

What To Expect

Itinerary
This is the usual route for this product:

Pass By: Paramo Verjon, Choachi Colombia

Journey across the Andes by car at an altitude of 3400 m.a.s.l., before making it to the cloud forest trek.

Stop At: Choachi, Choachi, Cundinamarca Department

- A 3 to 4 hour journey through the mountainside
- Discover a cloud forest ecosystem
- Visit numerous waterfalls and mountain springs
- Traverse along Spanish colonial trails
- Opt for birdwatching sessions
- Get acquainted with traditional medicinal plants
