    Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Pompeii Archaeological Park, Porta Marina (via Villa dei Misteri), 80045 Pompeii Italy

Pompeii was a city that boasted great splendor during the Roman era, renowned for its production of oils and wines which were then exported across the Mediterranean. Spectacular remains from this epoch still stand, immortalized after the devastating eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD. Of particular note are the Forum – the heart of the city where debates and religious events took place.

    Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Parco Acheologico di Ercolano, Corso Resina, 187, 80056 Ercolano Italy

In comparison to Pompeii, Herculaneum is much better preserved due to being protected by layers of volcanic material after its destruction in 79 AD. As it served as a resort town there was no Forum present like there was in Pompeii; instead visitors can explore shops and villas that feature brightly painted frescoes and mosaic floors.

    Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Vesuvius National Park, Via Palazzo del Principe, 80044 Ottaviano Italy

Vesuvius stands tall at over 1200 meters high - it is an iconic symbol of Naples despite being responsible for destroying many cities including both Pompeii and Herculaneum. This active volcano is now an open-air museum filled with lush vegetation populated by diverse wildlife thanks to its extremely fertile soil on which grapes are grown for producing Lacryma Christi wine.
