when you book this tour. This Private Tour encompasses visits to the ruins of Pompeii and Herculaneum as well as a hike up Vesuvius with a Volcanology Guide. An English speaking Driver in a Mercedes vehicle will pick you up and, depending on traffic conditions, you'll decide together where to begin the tour. Entrance tickets are not included.

Various departure times are available; however, if you're aboard a cruise ship we recommend starting at 8.15am. Lunchtime is free and comes with the additional bonus of having a Volcanology Guide for your ascent of Vesuvius.
