Pompeii with lunch and Wine tasting

Overview

You will be collected from your hotel by your chauffeur and luxury Mercedes, and you will head first to Pompei for a two-hour guided walking tour.
In A.D. 79, Mount Vesuvius erupted and Pompeii was buried under six meters of ash and rock (the equivalent of a two-storey building), remaining beneath the hardened earth for centuries until it was discovered.
You will have a private guide to show you the highlights of the site and bring Ancient Roman life back to life.
Afterwards, you will move on to a volcanic vineyard to visit one of the most prestigious wineries in the region, going on a walk in the vineyard and sampling some of their best wines such as Falanghina white wine with its fresh aromas or Aglianico red with its rich flavour.
Following this, you can enjoy a traditional Neapolitan lunch accompanied by local wines before being driven back to your hotel in the afternoon.

At the world-famous site of Pompeii, your private guide will help you explore the ruins and bring to life the story of this ancient city. For two hours, you'll get a glimpse into what daily life was like in A.D. 79 before Vesuvius erupted and destroyed it.

Sample Menu:
• Vesuvian Appetizer - Salami, local cheese, and bruschetta with tomatoes, olives and roasted aubergines on bread baked, paired with Lacryma Christi del Vesuvio white wine.
• Spaghetti Vesuvius - Spaghetti dressed with Vesuvian tomatoes sauce and basil, paired with Lacryma Christi Red wine aged in French oak barrels for 18-24 months.
• Neapolitan Pastiera - A traditional dessert made with ricotta cheese, candied fruit and boiled wheat berries paired with Capafresca Spumante Rosè and Passito wine.
