Souk Al had is an expansive souk with more than 6,000 stalls. It's surprisingly simple to explore when compared to other large souks in Morocco. There are twelve gates that lead into the area and clear numbering makes it easy to organize a meeting point or get your bearings. Some people may feel overwhelmed by the crowds and chaos; if so, simply walk in one direction until you reach an outer gate. You can then go around the perimeter walls or take a taxi if you don't want to walk. The stalls are organized in an orderly way which makes it possible to head straight towards a certain gate if there are products you want to buy.
