What To Expect

Our expert representative will pick you up from your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh around 11:30 PM (the air-conditioned bus will depart from Sharm El Sheikh around 1 AM). The bus takes about 7 hours to reach Cairo. An overnight journey is required to get there. Upon arrival, your Egyptology tour guide will welcome you with a drink and take you on a tour of the Plateau of Giza where you'll visit the Great Pyramid of Cheops, the Pyramids of Chephren and Mycerinus, as well as taking some pictures at the panoramic area, before going to Valley Temple and The Great Sphinx. Enjoy riding a camel for 30 minutes around the pyramids while listening to all the details provided by your private Egyptology guide about their history. After lunch at a good quality local restaurant with an already set menu including grilled chicken/kebab and kofta, head over to The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities for some exploration inside its many rooms such as Animal Mummy Room, Mummy Portraits and Royal Mummy Rooms (extra fee may apply), finishing off with King Tutankhamun's jewelry collection. Then move on to Khan el Khalili Bazaar - one of Egypt's oldest markets - for some bargaining experience within its unique atmosphere that can only be felt in person. Afterwards, drive back towards the bus station in Cairo for your return trip back to Sharm El Sheikh; ending this amazing day tour service!
