We left Lisbon around 9 am and quickly left the city, catching a glimpse of the countryside surrounding the capital. On the way to the medieval village of Óbidos you will find valleys and hills, streams and creeks, towns and villages with their own relaxed pace.
From the road you can already see Obidos. Imposing town on top of a brief hill surrounded by the walls that once defended it. Small white houses, narrow streets, churches full of history, commerce and regional produce contrast with the rough gray of the castle. Travel the cobbled paths and meet the people who embellish Óbidos, tasting the region through its most famous nectar - Ginjinha.
Open the appetite we go for lunch, we recommend the regional cuisine full of fresh fish and well seasoned meat. We continue back to Lisbon around 15h.
