What To Expect

Depart Hurghada in the early morning hours by private, air-conditioned vehicle and make your way to Cairo. Upon arrival, you will meet your personal Egyptologist guide who will accompany you on a tour of this world-famous city's highlights. Admire the Giza Pyramids, built around 2,500 BC and one of the last remaining Ancient Wonders of the World. See the Great Pyramid, constructed from 2.3 million stone blocks and believed to have taken up to 20 years to construct. Also view the Sphinx, an enigmatic statue of a human-headed lion that guards these tombs (additional cost for entering a pyramid). Visit the Solar Boat Museum (additional cost) where you can witness Khufu's funerary boat used to transport his body to this site. Afterward, enjoy lunch before exploring some of Egypt's 120,000 artifacts at its Egyptian Museum; don't miss out on seeing Tutankhamun's collection! Then visit Khan el-Khalili bazaar for souvenir shopping or visit a papyrus institute for handmade artworks before returning back to Hurghada with hotel drop-off.
