Your private guide will take you to the ruins of Herculaneum by public transportation. During the walking tour in the Archaeological Park you will admire stunning frescoes and mosaics. Moreover, it is possible to see fossilized wood which has been preserved over time. You can observe the dramatic remains of those who were killed during the ancient eruption. Inside the archeological area we can explore traditional houses, bath-houses, small shops and taverns to get an idea of what life was like in Ancient Rome. We will also marvel at wonderful frescoes and mosaics as well as be spellbound by the horrific skeletons! This two hour walk through history is tailored to your needs and requests.

We will take a 15 minute stroll from HerculaneumTrain Station into town so that we can appreciate its relaxed atmosphere located on Mount Vesuvius’ slopes while getting acquainted with locals' lifestyle.
