In this tour we will enjoy the highlights of the city walking among churches and medieval roads trying also the culinary tradition of the florentine street food.
we will start with the square Santa Maria novella preceding to Palazzo strozzi surprising us with a curious stop by a wine window, the little wooden windows used in the ancient times to sell wine avoiding fiscal contact because of the multitude of diseases.
then Repubblica square with the historical carousel, moving to the Cathedral square Santa Maria Del Fiore and exploring the medieval district where to try our local sandwich called the Lampredotto.
next stop will be Signoria square wich is an open space museum with a variety of renaissence statues, except for one, the David wich is a copy of the 20th c.
the tour will continue to the Porcellino market where you can try to throw the coin into the mouth of the bronze boar, then at last but not least the Ponte vecchio.
