What to Expect

    Come with us for a kayak trip in Tromsø and explore the arctic waters around the city. Paddle along at a relaxing pace and keep a look out for wildlife along the coast. Don't forget to look down into the water to see kelp, sea urchins and other sea life. During this activity we'll find the best place to enjoy a home-made picnic lunch, before making paddling back to base. This activity is suitable for beginners. Your guide will provide you with all the necessary safety equipment and show you the basics of paddling a kayak. During our time together in the wilderness, we will collect data for one of our citizen science projects. You'll have the opportunity to follow our validated scientific method to collect data that will be used to protect our precious landscape.
