Start this one-of-a-kind experience in the early morning with a hotel/Nile Cruise ship pick-up from your accommodation in Luxor. Please note (The exact pick up time should be confirmed with the company agent since it depends on your hotel's location and how far or near it is to the ballooning area.)

Once you arrive at the takeoff spot, you will find a music band (Tanoura show, drums and flute) performing for 20 - 30 minutes to provide you with entertainment. Take photos or dance along with them while the balloon prepares.

Then, after going through safety guidelines given by the pilot and answering any questions that may arise, he'll also brief his ground crew about preflight checklists before setting up the balloon - always paying close attention to safety details.
