Full day trip Agadir to Marrakech

Overview

We depart from Agadir at 7AM and take an air-conditioned vehicle, expecting to arrive in Marrakech around 10am. Once there, our sightseeing tour of the city's historic landmarks will start with an exterior view of the Koutoubia Mosque. We will then proceed to Menara Gardens and admire the pyramid-shaped pavilion framed against the Atlas Mountains; learning about its 12th-century origin. Our next stop is the Saadian Tombs - a relic from 15th century sultan Ahmad al-Mansur's time. Afterwards, we can marvel at Bahia Palace's setting and gardens.
We will then break for lunch before strolling through the medina's narrow medieval streets filled with tiny shops and artisan workshops leading up to Djemaa el-Fna Square - an open-air theater featuring nonstop entertainment by storytellers, singers, acrobats, snake charmers and more; here we can learn about how it was once used for public executions. Finally, we'll take a scenic drive back to Agadir for some rest.

Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product:

Stop At: Marrakech, Marrakech, Marrakech-Safi

We will arrive at 10 o’clock. During our stay in the city of 1001 Nights we will visit the following places: Jemaa El Fna Square and the Bahia Palace (19th century), The Koutoubia Mosque (11th century) and end with The Marrakech Local Market. After that you will have free time to explore the square and souks.

After lunch we go to Medina (Old Town) where we can find various souks. Of course, Djemaa El Fna should not be missed; it is the lively heart of the city where one can observe its hustle and bustle... This cultural space was included in UNESCO's list of Masterpieces of Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity in 2001. To finish our tour around Marrakech, we will walk together through chic Avenue Mohammed V, known as the Champs Elysees of this city.
