Taroudant Tiout Excursion

Overview

Pick up from your Hotel or Agadir Port to commence Our Taroudant and Tiout Day Trip and Explore the mini Marrakech city, famously known as the 'mother of Marrakesh'.

On our way, we'll make a quick stop to witness the popular Argan tree climbing goats. Then we'll continue on to the old walled city of Taroudant (mini Marrakesh), located 84 kilometres from Agadir, which was once capital of Saadian Empire.

Once there, you will have an opportunity to explore its 16th century souk and fortified ramparts. Afterwards, we will drive to Oasis and Kasbah of Tiout where a delectable Berber lunch awaits in a traditional house.

After taking some time for lunch, you can choose take a donkey ride through the palm trees around the Kasbah - site of famous Ali Baba and 40 Thieves movie filmed back in 1950s.

We will return back to your hotel at approximately 5 o'clock.

After breakfast, depart from the hotel at 08:00 am directly to

Taroudant.

Throughout your journey, you enjoy the beauty of Argan trees and goats perched atop argan trees along the roadside.

You start with a visit to the old red city located near the Sahara desert, exploring its medina and souks.

Taroudant is renowned for its leather crafts, wrought ironwork and Berber silver jewelry. When visiting Taroudant's medina you will discover its gates and 3 km² ramparts encircling the medina, Salam Palace with a short break at the poolside.

Departure to Tiout oasis lunch at local home , Enjoy an ass ride towards Kasbah Tiout situated at feet of Anti Atlas mountains. Beautiful palm groves are added to stunning beauty of Tiout oasis .

Back to Agadir in evening around 17H.
