Stop At: Pompeii Archaeological Park, Porta Marina (via Villa dei Misteri), 80045 Pompeii Italy

Pompeii, situated in Campania, is renowned for its ancient city that was buried by the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD. Visitors can explore the ruins with Villa dei Misteri and its frescoes, Roman amphitheatre and Sanctuary of the Blessed Virgin of the Rosary which has mosaics and a large dome. The Vesuvian Museum G.B. Alfano displays volcanic rocks and historical eruptions prints.

Stop At: Sorrento, Sorrento, Province of Naples, Campania

Sorrento is an international tourist destination located on a large tufa terrace facing the sea on Lattari Mountains' slopes. It is well-known for its villas, hotels, parks and gardens as well as views from Villa Comunale viewpoint overlooking Naples Gulf and connections to main towns of Campania accessible through Corso Italia where Duomo stands in Piazza Tasso.

Positano on Amalfi coast offers tourists pebbly beaches to sunbathe at or stroll along narrow streets full of cafes and shops past Santa Maria Assunta church with majolica dome and 13th century Byzantine icon depicting Virgin Mary. Hiking trail Sentiero degli Dei links it to other coastal towns.
