Overview

You will be escorted by one of our experienced, highly educated and informed English-speaking driver guides. Your driver will drive with caution, giving commentaries on the culture and customs of the area during the journey. You can leave your belongings in the car without worrying about their security. The driver will be as accommodating and pliable as possible when necessary.

What To Expect

Stop At: See Amalfi Coast Official, 84011, Amalfi Italy

This tour will take you to the slopes of Mt. Vesuvius (Volcano), where you can experience an authentic tasting of the renowned Lacryma Christi wine (translated as “tears of Christ”). This celebrated Neapolitan type of wine is produced on these slopes in Campania Region and has a legend attached to its name. White Lacryma Christi is made mainly from Verdeca and Coda di Volpe grapes, with smaller amounts of Falanghina, Caprettone and Greco di Tufo. Red Lacryma Christi is made from Piedirosso and Sciascinoso grapes.

• Sorrento You'll have about 90 minutes to explore this historical center which features churches, leather factories, limoncello factories and inlaid woodwork shops. Afterward, the driver guide will take you to a vineyard for lunch and wine tasting.

• Lunch/wine tour The Wine Tour offers an incredible experience at a countryside vineyard near Mount Vesuvius. Witness the winemaking process while getting to taste some Italian wines such as Fiano, Taurasi and Lacryma di Christi ("tears of Christ"). Enjoy a light lunch here too!

• End of tour. The escort driver will return you between 4-5pm or agree upon time.
