    This boat tour is a unique opportunity to relax and explore Valentia Islands unique history and culture on the Wild Atlantic Way. Sit back and enjoy the history of the Transatlantic Telegraph Cable that was laid through Valentia Harbour from the Western Union Cable station right across the Atlantic Ocean to the shores of Newfoundland - Canada in 1866.

    Your guide will then transport you back to the 6th & 7th century were you will discover the amazing history and findings from Church Island and Beginish Island of the Monks and Vikings that once roamed the Skellig Coast.

    Before arriving back to your departure point, your tour will take you to Cromwell Point lighthouse allowing you to imagine the pirate ships that passed under the cannons that once protected the harbour to then go straight ahead passing Glanleam beach - back towards Knightstown, Valentia.
