Explore the Wild Atlantic Way up close and in person with an amazing trip onboard The Navigator that is a custom built sea safari wheelchair accessible boat. To start the tour will be transported back back to the 18th century when the Transatlantic Cable left Valentia Island to Hearts Content, Newfoundland, Canada.
You will then travel across the high seas towards Church Island, where you will discover a 6th and 7th century Monastery similar to those on Skellig Michael.
Once you have discovered the Monks, you will then walk off the Navigator straight onto Beginish Island were you can enjoy beautiful views while climbing towards the old Viking House ruins. Stroll along the beach to then be picked up to move onto seeing the seals.
The Captain & crew will then guide you through the history of Valentia Harbour, the Lighthouse & the pirates who once made Valentia Harbour their home through stories, myths and folklore known to this beautiful area. Private tours can be arranged on request.
