Explore 5 of our favorite spots for frozen treats while learning about the culinary + cultural history of the city. We'll cover 1.5 miles at a leisurely pace as we explore Union Square and the East Village.
Cool off with fresh fruit pops made without all the artificial ingredients you’d typically find in the grocery store aisle. These delicious treats are made up of just fruit, water and cane sugar. Enjoy small batch artisanal gelato made in the traditional Italian style, sourced from local ingredients whenever possible. This shop boasts a rotating selection of flavors from the unique to the traditional. We'll grab a scoop at one of our favorite East Village scoop shops where each guest will get to choose their own flavor. Finally we'll wind down in Tompkins Square Park with sliced ice cream sandwich halves. There’s no better way to end the tour than with creamy vanilla ice cream sandwiched between two chocolate chip cookies, dipped in chocolate and covered in rainbow sprinkles.
