OURIKA VALLEY DAY TRIP DESCRIPTION:
Beginning at 09 am, your day trip to the Ourika valley starts with a short drive from Marrakech into the foothills of the Atlas Mountains. As you traverse the valley of Ourika, you will be presented with stunning landscapes full of vibrant colors and winding mountain villages. The first stop of your journey will bring you to a traditional Berber home where guests are welcomed into their abode and offered tea as well as breakfast made up of bread, honey, butter, and olive oil. Continuing on your tour through the valley, there will be an opportunity to ride camels for half an hour before moving onto Setti Fatma. This weekend destination holds much beauty in its streams and seven waterfalls, beautiful cliffs and lush green valleys that still practice a medieval agricultural tradition. Wander around taking picturesque views of terraces surrounded by the Atlas Mountains before going on a guided hike to one of its seven waterfalls. Then head back for lunch in a nice restaurant boasting incredible views of its mountains while feasting on Moroccan dishes (vegetarian options available). Your final goodbye to Ourika Valley is in Marrakech around 05 pm.
