The Reina Sofía Museum in Madrid officially opened in September 1992.
This art center is dedicated to contemporary Spanish art, which includes works by 3 great artists of the twentieth century, Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dalí and Joan Miró.
You can admire the most famous painting by Pablo Picasso in memory of the bombing of the Basque city during the Civil War, the Guernica of Picasso.
This museum covers periods that are not exhibited at the Prado Museum.
