The Bellagio Hotel is one of the most famous and well-loved hotels in the whole of Las Vegas and the Fountains of Bellagio light and water show is easily one of the best free attractions in Las Vegas.

The 8-5-acre lake in front of the hotel represents Lake Como in Bellagio, Italy and the water and light fountain show runs every 30-minutes or so throughout the afternoon and into the night.

The Fountains of Bellagio is a truly phenomenal show that consists of over 1,2000 fountains that shoot illuminated water up into the air to music.

Each performance is played to a different song to keep the show entertaining and different every time; an absolute must-do while in Vegas!

While it might be small, the power of the Welcome to Las Vegas sign is incredibly mighty and attracts millions of visitors each and every year.

Taking a selfie or group photo in front of the sign is one of the best free attractions in Las Vegas and if you don’t do it, did you even really go to Vegas at all!

The Welcome to Las Vegas sign was once on the outskirts of the city but since Vegas has grown exponentially over the last couple of decades, it’s now surrounded by numerous hotels and shopping centres.

Remember to bring your camera along and prepare to queue to get a picture in front of the infamous sign!

Vegas is renowned for its eclectic offering of over-the-top shows and performances and the Fremont Street Experience is no exception.

This free attraction in Las Vegas consists of 12.5 million overhead lights along the roof of the “street” and puts on an entertaining show of all the lights accompanied by music.

It’s a truly incredible thing to see in Vegas and something that kids will also thoroughly enjoy if you’re travelling to the Neon City with children in tow.

The show happens every hour from 7pm to midnight so you’re sure to be able to catch at least one show while you’re there!

Bring your camera, phone or GoPro along when seeing the Fremont Street Experience as it’s something you’ll definitely want to document while in the city!

The Circus Circus Act (so good they had to name it twice!) is one of the best free attractions in Las Vegas and is also incidentally the largest permanent circus in the world!

While usually you’d expect to pay good money to see a performance of this variety, the Circus Circus Act performs to vast audiences in Vegas completely free of charge!

If you’re in the mood for some light-hearted entertainment, head to Circus Circus to watch jugglers, acrobats, aerialists and unicyclists, amongst others, perform in an incredible show high above the casino floor.

Seating is limited to watch the circus performance, but you can still stand and watch as the Circus Circus Act only lasts around 10-minutes and is repeated every hour from 11.30am until late into the evening!

Located inside the Mirage Hotel, the Volcano is a fantastic free attraction in Las Vegas and was also one of the original free things to enjoy in Vegas.

Once the sun goes down, the volcano comes to life and spurts water and fireballs out from its crevices up to 12-feet into the air!

It’s an absolutely mesmerising spectacle to see in Vegas and something that the whole family are sure to enjoy!

The Volcano consists of not only two volcano systems, but also several waterfalls, fire shooters and a lagoon.

If you want to be treated to yet another over-the-top show and performance full of technological theatrics, then a trip to the Mirage Hotel to see the Volcano is definitely one of the best things to do in Vegas!
