Overview

This tour introduces you to traditional Czech food cooked just the way mama would do it. Learn more about Czech culture in this tour and hands-on cooking class in Prague. Experience what it means to make a Czech meal on a half-day cooking class. This small group class is based on teaching travelers about traditional Czech recipes and making a 3-course meal. Travelers will be taught how to make the meal from start to finish. There are also snacks and drinks to enjoy after the 3-course meal. When you're making your meal, you get to sit down with the hosts to eat and listen to them tell you stories about local traditions and culture. The cooking class has a maximum booking capacity of 10 people. You'll be guided through everything in an authentic and friendly manner. We will lead the workshops and keep things interesting, cook together, stories and talk about traditions too. We believe that asides the biological food, there's a need for a cultural and social meal too. Travelers will be taught how to make traditional Czech dishes as if they were in their homes.

The tour is led by Aida or Bret from Good Mood Food. They are knowledgeable, English-speaking hosts that will do everything to keep the trip interesting and all travelers involved. Travelers also get to enjoy alcoholic beverages, snacks, coffee/and or tea. The trip is designed to be able to hold a maximum of 10 travelers.

Aida and Bret are great people who welcomed us warmly to the art of making delicious, traditional Czech food. They worked with us to discover our food preferences and helped us get the 3-course meal ready. After cooking, all of us sat down to enjoy a meal and some interesting discussions.
