Airport Express Bus service consists of different buses which ply different routes so it is important to be sure that the one you are boarding will take you to where you want to go. One goes to the beach hotels or old Nice leaving every 20 minutes and the other goes to the main train station and leaves every 30 minutes.

Taxi Tip : Taxi drivers in Nice are known to have a poor reputation as they tend to overcharge and be rude. Some operate with an obscured meter which could be a sign of overcharging. Also, if the meter is working properly, it is always advisable to check that it is set correctly according to the time it is. For example, if it is during the day make sure it is set to day ( jour) or if at night (soir).

Money Saving Tip with Uber: You could also take an UberX taxi via the mobile application Uber. It is way cheaper ranging from 16-20 euros and the drivers are very polite. All you need is to download uber the application to your phone and input your credit card details. You could also consider a more specialized service of Uber called Uber Black Car which is a bit more luxurious. It cost about 28-32 euros which is also cheaper than the regular taxis.

Trains: A train service is available but very importantly, is the fact that the train station is not in the Airport itself. You can get there by bus as described above and depending on which terminal you have landed you could walk. Walking takes about 15 minutes from terminal 1 but the distance is longer from terminal 2 hence it is not advisable to walk.
