The Dallas Love Field Airport occupies a total of 1300 acres of land, located 10 km (6miles) Northwest of Downtown Dallas, Texas. It has 3 runways and a recently built single-concourse terminal which handles about 16 million passengers and over 200,000 aircraft operations in a year. The headquarters of the city of Dallas Aviation Department is found in this airport. Despite being a small airport for only local flights, the Dallas Love Field has provisions to give passengers good travel experience.

For instance, if you have to spend a night and you don't want to spend much money, then no problem because the airport has an area called "Love Landing" with lots of coaches and comfortable reclining chairs. These are suitable for a good night sleep, provided you have ear muffs to tune off the noise and eyeshades to dim the very bright lights. AIRPORT TO CITY

The airport is only 6 miles from Northwest, downtown Dallas. There are several options for connecting the city. Outside the terminal there are taxis available to take passengers into town and it cost about $23 per passenger.

There are also shuttles available for a ride into the city. Some of them are; Aries Shuttle, SuperShuttle, Yellow Checker, Premier Transportation, Shuttle and City Shuttle, and they are available 24 hours. Nearby hotels offer free airport shuttle service to their guests as a treat.
