New York City comprises 5 boroughs sitting where the Hudson River meets the Atlantic Ocean. At its core is Manhattan, a densely populated borough that's among the world'ss major commercial, financial and cultural centers. Its iconic sites include skyscrapers such as the Empire State Building and Sprawling Central Park. Broadway Theater is staged in neon-lit Times Square.

New York City is massive and the list of places to visit is long so in view of this, we grouped sites together based on their location in order to save you time walking and using public transportation. This will keep you from spending unnecessary time on the subway and from backtracking through the city. This itinerary also comprises of all cost through and in the sites/hoods.

Wake up and slide your way in to the six tallest building in the world with the kids. The One World Observatory gives you your first view of New York City. You can see awesome views of Manhattan, The Statue of Liberty and New Jersey from here.

Don't forget get there as early as possible to beat the crowds and have a more pleasant experience.

As couples, The One World Observatory is the best place to be early in the morning to have a romantic view of New York. Awesome views of the city can be seen from the sixth tallest building in the world.

Getting up early is the code, so as not to have a stressful time getting inside.

After your wonderful experience at the World Observatory, take the kids to the 9/11 Memorial Museum.

This is a museum where you will all learn about the story of 9/11 through a series of exhibits, artifacts and interactive technology.

The kids will be glad you took them there because they will be filled with knowledge after leaving this wonderful place.

After your romantic experience at the World Observatory, the 9/11 Memorial Plaza is the next place to be. This is an 8-acre park where the World Trade Center Twin Towers once stood. The foundations of the Twin Towers have been converted into reflecting pools and the surrounding area is now a grove of trees.

So it would be fun to slide into the pool with your lovers

By this time, we recommend taking the kids for lunch by exposing them to an Italian sandwich shop. Pisillo Italian Panini is a great Italian shop where locals, families, etc. always take themselves to for lunch.

The sandwiches here are enormously served and can be split between two people.

Hold your lover into THE OCULUS, also called the World Trade Center Transportation Hub. You will know you are in the right spot when you see the brilliantly white, space-aged looking structure.

It is also a shopping mall and a place to grab a bite to eat (that means: You can roam about, have some pictures together using the enormous white building as background and as well have lunch in the same place)

One of the free things to do and have a great enjoyment in New York is a ride on The Staten Island Ferry. With this evening ride with your kids, you will mesmerize yourself and the kids with view of Manhattan Skylineand the statue of liberty.

The ferry leaves from the Staten Island ferry terminal next to battery park. The ferry is enormous with multiple decks and inside and outside seating. We will recommend here that you take a seat outside at the back of the ferry, it gives you real and amazing view

Spend the rest of the afternoon at SOHOwandering and shopping. This is a neighborhood which serves as home to art galleries, trendy shops and restaurants.

Just taking a walk round the beautiful neighborhood which got his name from “South of Houston Street” is enough for the rest of the evening.

And we recommend PiccolaCucinaOsteriafor dinner, it is a tiny restaurant that serves romantic traditional Sicilian food. The food is amazing and the menus are great.

DAY-2 IN NEW YORK ITINERARY

If it's your first time in New York, the Statue Of Libertyis a must see in the Liberty Island.

At the Statue of Liberty, you can climb the base of the statue or go all of the way to the crown. The main thing here is to book your ticket in advance.

THE MUSEUM OF MODERN ART (MoMA) is our recommended place for the Museum tour. It has one of the world's best collections of art from the 18th century to today. See The Starry night by Van Gogh, and works of art by Matisse, Monet and Picasso.

You can't have an over-sightseeing of this wonderful place as couples. Don't forget that taking pics is allowed so you better be ready to flood your gallery with pictures using these art collections as background or standing right next to them. As couples you can have someone snap you as you imitate some of the romantic art drawings (cool right????)

Take a ferry ride to the ELLIS ISLAND afterwards.The Liberty Island (the location of the Statue of Liberty) and Ellis Island are connected by ferry with battery park.

Note:Statue Cruises is the only company authorized by the National Park Service to provide ferry service to Ellis Island.

The next place to enjoy your second day's lunch is the PATSY'S ITALIAN RESTAURANT.

This family-owner restaurant had been in business since 1944. Its romantic/amazing appearance made it the right choice for famous celebrities like Ben Stiller, Tom hanks, Oprah Winfrey, James Gandolfini and many more. And we recommend the Eggplant Parmesan (the best menu).

Take the kids and let everybody slide into an amazing neighborhood, SoHo.

Actually the main thing you are here to do is for a Food tour but that doesn't mean you shouldn't take the children into the art galleries, trendy shops and so on.

There are lots of restaurants that serves the best of foods and you would never forget coming into this neighborhood.

After lunch, a visit to New York will be not complete if you didn't at least stroll through part of The Central Park. The central park is the most visited tourist attraction in the world, it is a treasured green space, a spot to lie with your lover in the sun, go for a run with her/him or make the place a playground for you and your spouse.

It is advisable to spend the rest of the afternoon there because there are lots of activities to do here like; wandering all over with your feet, rent bikes, cycle a lap or two, go for a horse (this one is romantic for lovers), etc.

To round today, get to know Lower Manhattan like never before when you take the Secrets Of Downtown Tour. Of course, you'll learn about the financial district, but you'll also learn a secret or two Lower Manhattan's treasured landmarks. The children will have a blessed evening with the awesome evening view of Manhattan.

A visit too New York without getting an awesome evening view of the city is equal to Zero. So hold your spouse's hand and climb up The Rock Observation Deck. At the top of Rockefeller Center is this observation deck, you can get the best view of new York from this deck. (hint: hug your spouse and let a passerby give you a shot. And you can also give him/her a kiss using the illuminated new York as its pics background).

Places you will see from this observation deck are; Central Park (as a whole), Harlem, The Bronx, The Empire State Building, the towering Skyscrapers and the World Trade Center. The illuminated view of these places will give you an everlasting memory of your visit to NYC.

DAY-3 IN NEW YORK ITINERARY

It's the third day of your journey and obviously the last. Even though it's the last, that doesn't mean you can get some goodbye enjoyment before leaving NYC.

Couples usually find something to remember a visited place and that is a romantic photo session.

Around 10:00am

Go on a full-day visit to Brooklyn. This is a fast-growing spot in NYC. To make your visit to New York worthwhile and to make our itinerary complete, the Brooklyn is the last place to visit. It is a historical neighborhood, a fabulous food scene, and some of the best view of the Manhattan skyline.

Brooklyn is so large that you can't finish visit in just one day (especially when with kids), so we advise you slide into the neighborhood of Williamsburg and the areas of the East Park.

Lots of things to do in Williamsburge.g.: A ferry to the East River to Dumbo and dine on the best pizza in the city and end with a walk over the iconic Brooklyn Bridge. Time: 4-5 hours

Price: Free via Foot walking tour (and this is the most interesting, you got to see places very well and also save money)

Book your photographer and together visit the Brooklyn Bridge. This is an iconic bridge and it is often rated as the most photographed place in the world. Take your spouse to the bridge for a romantic photo session.

After some hours of good photographs which includes laughing, smiling, wonderful shouting, lovely hugs, the beautiful pics of standing on the low-level bridge and so on, then slide into the Brooklyn City itself for a food tour. You will never forget your third day's experience in a lifetime.
