We've put together a five day itinerary full of popular attractions, museums and monuments (e.g. the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, The Black Paris Tour, Piscine Pontoise, Seine Boat Cruise and lots more) around the city so you can experience all that Paris has to offer.

This post is a 5-day itinerary on what things to see and do in Paris. I bet, you can't visit every attractive place in Paris in a lifetime let alone in 5 days. Being strategic would help have the best fun.

DAY-1 IN PARIS ITINERARY

Saint Chapelle: skip the queue by getting there before 9:00am. It's relatively small attraction and the security and ticket lines can be long, so arriving there when it opens will save you a lot of time.

Cathedrale Notre-dame: Slide into the cathedral with your kids. With the mesmerizing view of the two huge towers and mighty flying buttresses.

Price: Entry is free and only 8 Euros if you want to visit either the towers or the crypt (included with the Paris pass and Paris Museum pass)

By now the kids would have been hungry, so we will advise you slide into one the restaurants you can see around the cathedral like Le Creperie du Cloitre just 0 miles from Notre Dame

Around 4:30 PM:

After the long-hour Black Paris Tour, relax yourself at the Le Verre Vole which you sip and nibble French wine. They also serve gourmet small plates featuring gorgeously arranged vegetables, delicate cuts of meat or fish and desserts to go with a bit of sweet meal. Isn't that romantic enough for couples?

Around 2:00 PM:

Louvre Museum: From Notre dame it's a 20 minute walk (or 15 minutes metro ride). It houses the Venus de Milo, the largest and most visited art gallery in the world. You can spend the whole day here but you've got to economize your time to be able to enjoy an evening metro ride in Paris.

Time to spend: 3 - 5 hours

Both the Paris pass and Paris Museum pass offer free entry to the Louvre with fast-track access.

8:00 PM:

Go for an after-dinner dip in a lavish old-art deco style pool in the historical Latin Quarters that's heated and sheltered from the elements. It is the Piscine Pontoise. Enjoy the shimmering lights on the water and admire the stately architectural details that have made this pool one of the most popular places to come for relief from the heat and city bustle.

Caves du Louvre: Well conveniently, right next door to

the Louvre you'll find the caves du Louvre, a relatively new wine tasting experience set in an 18th century wine cellar, formerly home to the wine collection of the King of France himself.

Time to Spend: 1 hour

Price: 30 Euros but (it is free for holders of the Paris pass)

DAY-2 IN PARIS ITINERARY

8:00 AM:

After a wonderful breakfast in your lodged hotel with your kids. You can proceed into the street of Paris

7:00 AM:

Grab a good photographer (or probably your phone) and go for a romantic photo shoot. We recommend the Alexandre III bridge, it is somehow crowd-filled so we advise you go very early in the morning to have a cool photo shoot. In just 30 minutes, your gallery would be filled with beautiful images.

Arc de Triomphe: This is one of the famous monument, kids might have learnt of this in school. This is a place used to honour those who fought and died for France in the French Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars. You can take you kids up to the arc to get a nice view of an early morning Paris.

Time to spend: 2 hours

8:00 AM:

After the beautiful experience of a romantic photo shoot, walk over to La Creperie for breakfast.

12:00 PM:

An afternoon having fun in Luxembourg Gardens. Now it's time to play, you can just stroll along the beautiful gardens or lie down on the lawn and also there are so many fun things to do for children. Spending the whole 10:00 AM:

afternoon from 12pm in the Luxembourg gardens is not enough, you can have your lunch there and you can also have a good evening relaxation there.

You can take a nap in your hotel before heading to one of the most visited monument in the world, The Eiffel Tower. Experiencing is believing when analyzing the romantic moment you will have at the Eiffel tower as

You can have an evening metro ride of the city from the Luxembourg gardens. The sun would be setting by this time. So two hours metro ride from Luxembourg to your lodged hotel is the best in the evening for you and your family.

12:00 PM:

Hop into a taxi to Notre-Dame Cathedral, walk around and admire its beautiful facade, a best place for couple's gallery flooding. You can also sit at an outdoor cafe nearby for lunch afterwards

After your wonderful experience in the Notre-Dame, don't hesitate to go for an evening/dinner cruise at the Seine. There you find the Calife Boat, the interior is intimate and romantic enough for couples. Relax and take in the paris attraction at sunset/night.

DAY-3 IN PARIS ITINERARY

An Evening Bus and Boat Tour at the Verdettes de Paris is the better option for you to have a beautiful evening. The latter takes you all around Paris stopping at four different hop-on, hop-off locations along the way to view paris in the evening as a family.

Around 3 PM:

Walk south to the Musee de la Vie Romantique, the romantic mansion with green shutters and tangled garden sits in a cobbled courtyard at the end of a tree shaded alley. DAY-4 ITINERARY PARIS

After your family breakfast, dedicate the day to the Disneyland Park. It worth it.

Today is recommended as a full day museum tour. After having a nice breakfast in the hotel you lodged

9:30 AM:

As at this time, you ought to be there ready for it to be opened by 10am to get your ticket ready on time.

Disneyland Park is just as fun as its American counterparts, with added European exoticism. It is a short train ride from the city but worth the trek, because the two parks can be tackled in one day.

Paris being a romantic city, we think that one of the most romantic things you can do is take a wander along the "Left bank". The left bank is the south side of the River Seine. It's a free pass for lovers.

Ride any Ligne 14 Metro train to Cour Saint-Emilion (this is the new "Meteor" line between the Gare de lyon and the Bibliotheque National de France. This place is called Bercy Village, have the best shopping experience. Bercy is a diverse area with shops, restaurants, leisure activities and entertainment spread over 26,000 m2.

Time to Spend: more than 6 hours
